African Professionals in Bristol

The University of Bristol and Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) is conducting a project: "Skilled Migration and Global English: Language Development, and the African Professional", which aims to investigate how English proficiency shapes migration flows and professional success among skilled migrants from Africa.

We would therefore like to invite African professionals currently based in Bristol and the South West to share their experiences with us and help us better understand the role of language in migration.

Participants will be asked to answer 13 short questions in a face to face interview, via email, or over the phone (depending on the participant's preference). All information will be treated as confidential and pseudonyms will be used to ensure participant anonymity.

If you are interested in taking part in the project or would like more information, please contact:

Re: African Professionals in Bristol

Hi Matt,

Thank you for the post. Bristol has a good number of African Professionals and more specifically from The Gambia who may be interested to participate in this task. The infomation you submitted will also be cascaded to the members of this association and hopefully interested individuals will contact you.
