03/06/06: The longest day comes to an end - congress 2006 by Malang Darboe, Secretary General
It had been a tiring journey to the day of the Congress. And most certainly the labour invested has
produced the right fruits. Of course selfless citizens, more often, do not feel comfortable with public
approbation of their efforts in the "service of humanity", it however, would equally be a destitution on
my part to give thanks and praises to the attendees without a word or two for the selfless citizens that
made the occasion possible. It was never too late for Ebrima (Saul) Bojang, neither too early for Binako
Touray, nor too cold for Mr President L.I. Manjang , nor odd a day for Sister Jainaba Darbo, nor too far a
distance for my Wisest Man (Buba Sulay Cham) of multiple talents, to meet in preparation for the congress..!
