OUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Our team is dedicated to advancing the objectives of the association by putting in place policies and procedures geared towards attaining the aims and objectives of the Bristol based registered charitable organisation engaged in promoting social inclusion, education, relieving poverty, cultural education aimed at advancing and cementing social cohesion and community integration.
Buba who was elected and served as Finance Director of Kombo Sillah Association previously served as an Executive Member of the association for a number of years. Having stepped down as Finance director in October 2019, Buba has been appointed to serve as a trustee to continue his great service to the association. He is a Registered Nurse working for Brunel Care as a Senior Nurse. Buba lives in Newport, South Wales with his family. He has been an active member of the association and enjoys spending some of his spare time volunteering for a number of fundraising activities of the association.
Ismaila Kebba Tiya Sanyang's charisma and ability to mobilise people in a common cause makes him a popular person among his peers. With a keen belief in the power of charitable and volunteer work, he is committed to raising funds through fundraising activities to support and fund KSA's charitable objectives. There really couldn’t be a more dedicated Chairman, and we’re so happy to have Ismaila as a Kombo Sillah Association (UK) Trustes Chairman.
Lamin is an IT Specialist with nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry. He worked for Ford Retail Limited from 2004 until 2013 when he moved to join Audi where he currently works. He is one of the founding members of Kombo Sillah Association. Lamin held the Secretary General and Assistant Sec. General portfolios of the association on three occasions in the past from the inception of the association, until his recent appointment as a trustee having stepped down as Secretary to the Board of Trustees in October 2019. He lives in the seaside town of Weston Super Mare in North Somerset.
Kaddy is a former executive member of the association and is among a handful of members who founded the KSA 18 years ago. She lives and works in Leeds as a Front End Team Manager for the UK’s biggest retailer, Tesco.

Tijan Touray is a 37yrs old from the Gambia, a hair dresser by trade and a charity fundraiser living in Portsmouth, UK with his family. Tijan is president of Gunjur Youth Association. His aim to inspire young people in leadership, national development and education. Tijan supports several charities both in the UK and the GAMBIA.

With a keen belief in the power of charity and volunteer work Aminata is committed to volunteering her time to the work of KSA. There really couldn’t be a more dedicated team member, and we’re so happy to have her as part of the Kombo Sillah Association UK team.

Fatou was a volunteered for Castle Hill School for children with severe disabilities, castle Grange care home for elderly with dementia. She has completed a number of short courses in the health and social care profession. Fatou also volunteers for the Gambian community in Huddersfield as the head of organising commitee, as well as women's representative. She also doubles as Assistant chairlady for Bucka Halat women Association in Huddersfield.
LAMIN M. MANJANG
Trustee / Ass. Secretary
Mr. Lamin Manjang is a 47 years old married father of three, currently resident in Bristol. He was born in The Gambia where he completed his primary education, before proceeding to Muslim High school from 1984-1989 where he took his GSCE.
Mr Manjang then enrolled into Gambia College from 1990-1992 where he qualified as a teacher. He also attended UCEW Ghana for training as a special needs education teacher on blind and low vision. Additionally, he was also involved and gained experience doing community participation in the youths and sports activities for 4 years. Lamin also served as Vice President of KSA from 2006-2009. As a family man he enjoys responsibilities and community advocate that enables him to represent his communities at different portfolios. He now works as a Resident Caretaker for Bristol City Council.

Mustapha Jammeh worked as Studio Operation Technics at national Radio and Television Services of The Gambia, from 98 to 2004 where he rose to the post of a program presenter, i.e News reading and Entertainment. From 2004 to 2007, Mustapha studied CCNA / CCNP networking technologies at the Leeds College of Technology in Leeds, UK. Mustapha had stints with DHL Logistics UK as team leader, and Team Supervisor at SIGMA Logistics UK.
He is the Founder and CEO of Skypower Online Radio and TV services.
