KSA Data Privacy Policy

KSA Data Privacy Policy

As you are probably aware, there has been important changes made to European data protection law that came into effect on 25th May 2018. The implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related rules impose requirements in terms of the data that we hold about our members and service users and how we use it.

Our data usage policy makes it easier for you to understand how we use the information we hold about you.

What information do we collect?

If you complete the membership registration form, we store the name, address, mobile number and e-mail address you have provided on our Membership Database. We then add the mobile number to the KSA Official Members' WhatsApp Group, if you give consent.

For most contacts including donors, volunteers and suppliers, we keep details of your name, address, telephone number and email address.

How do we use this information?

From time to time we may contact you about events, volunteering opportunities or fundraising activities by e-mail.

Who do we share information with?

We do not share personal information with any other Organisation or third party in any way. The data we collect about you is for our own internal use and how we communicate with you as a registered member. We occasionally use MailChimp, a trusted provider, to send emails to all our members and supporters - you can check their privacy policy on their website.

How long do we keep your information?

We will keep information such as your name and address details and donation history on our database in line with our constitution and for financial auditing purposes.

The accuracy of the information we keep is vitally important to us. You can ask for a copy of the information we keep about you at any time or inform us about any changes by emailing us at info@ksa-uk.org
