Jaliba Kuyateh & Kumareh Band UK Tour 2018
Kombo Sillah Association UK in collaboration with Paradise Express Services Limited are pleased to announce the 2018 UK Tour of the King of Kora Jaliba Kuyateh and Kumareh Band.
Jaliba Kuyateh will be back in the UK after a two year absence and this will follow the launching of Kumareh Band’s two brand new albums: "Kolilliko" and “Gambia Sii Kiling” to once again wow his numerous UK fans with his mesmerising Kora playing and stage skills.
Jaliba and Kumareh Band will begin the 2018 UK Tour on Friday, 6th April 2018 ending the tour in grand style at the Trinity Hall in Bristol organised by Kombo Sillah Association and Paradise Express Services Ltd on Saturday, 28th April 2018.
The Bristol event will be filmed and DVD produced by David Hart of Ice Box Video Productions, who is a Bristol based cameraman and the owner of Icebox Video Production Company. David is a BBC trained Television Studio/live (OB) Outside Broadcast Lighting Cameraman for other broadcasters like the BBC network, BBC Points West News, ITV Daybreak, ITN, Channel 4, Sky, Sky Sports & Sky News. David owns a Cine Alta Sony 4K PMW-F5 Large Sensor Camera capable of shooting 180FPS / 250FPS using the 4K RAW recorder. The Bristol Jaliba will be on ultra-High 4K Definition DVD so dress to impress!
As part of the 2018 UK Tour, the following dates are available to be acquired on franchise basis:

Individuals and associations are encouraged to submit their interest in the franchise acquisition of the dates above. If you would like to take Jaliba and Kumareh band to perform for you in your city or town, please contact us for our franchise agreement/contract.
Proceeds from the fundraising concerts with Jaliba Kuyateh & Kumareh Band will be used towards financing the Charitable Objectives of Kombo Sillah Association of promoting education, and relieving poverty through cultural education targeted at the objective of advancing and cementing social cohesion and community integration in the UK and the Gambia at large,
